history channel documentary hd In 1947 some goat herders searching for their lost goats among the precipices along the Dead Sea happened upon some old, earthen containers in a hollow. The jugs contained seven parchments that dated back around 2,000 years. For the following nine years archeologists scoured the slopes and discovered ten more surrenders containing a wide range of relics - more parchments, bits of parchments, ceramics, material and different things of archeological interest. A sum of 800 original copies were discovered dating from 200 BCE to 68 CE. The holes are known as the Qumran hollows and the general population who lived in them are currently called the Qumran people group that comprised of for the most part Jewish individuals. The general population who composed the compositions were most likely ministers or individuals firmly associated with the brotherhood somehow. The compositions are principally in Hebrew and Aramaic containing a great part of the same material found in the Old Testament that we have today. Generally, the works contain standards and controls on the best way to direct life in a Jewish people group. Some new understandings about early Jewish society were found out and how that society may have offered ascend to Christianity.

The books in the New Testament were composed around 60 CE, around 2,000 years prior, by the messengers Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter and James. They recount the narrative of Jesus and his teachings. Jesus was conceived in Palestine, a district in the Middle East only east of the Mediterranean Sea. in Bethlehem in the year 4 BCE plus or minus a couple of years. He grew up poor and filled in as a woodworker in and around Nazareth; and as indicated by sacred text, started instructing the expression of God when he was around thirty years of age. Jesus left no expounding on what he thought or lectured and there are no photos, drawings or portrayals of what he resembled. Life the Buddha, he had devotees or followers that clearly took notes on the grounds that the sacred texts that were set down in the New Testament were composed by individuals who were with him, knew him or knew individuals who knew him. In this manner, our insight into jesus comprises of what individuals expounded on him. We realize that he was a rich person, possessed nothing, composed nothing, was a healer, an educator, talked frequently about the influence of the Holy Spirit and impacted the world.
